I took a trip to Michaels this weekend to look for some new yarn. I have a couple projects in mind, but I’m never sure what exactly I’ll make until I buy the yarn. I love thick, chunky knits. They’re so cozy and with winter right around the corner, I want to make some really warm pieces. The first yarn I found was a wintery cream color and was textured with big loops. The second was a super bulky yarn with variegated colors. I immediately knew I wanted to knit a thick, fluffy throw blanket with the textured yarn, so I started that project as soon as I got home!
So far, it’s turning out to be a super soft, luxurious blanket that will be perfect for cuddling in the cold winter!
I am going to knit the blanket in two panels and then sew it down the middle so that it’s wide enough.
